Excel or SAP Business One – make the right decision!

Excel is one of the best-known solutions for data collection. The tool is a good solution as it is part of Microsoft Office and does not incur any additional costs. However, when it comes to a larger number of customers, a more effective solution is sought.

What makes ERP so attractive compared to Excel?

SAP Business One automates many processes and various errors can be avoided, which are checked by the automation. This reduces manual effort and saves time accordingly.
Document numbering, invoicing, credit notes etc. are automatically continued with consecutive numbers. A real time saver and just one of many optimizations of your processes that SAP Business One takes care of for you.

ERP systems allow account statements to be imported, provide various overviews of customers, suppliers and receipts and make them available visually on request. Reminders can also be sent and various data exchanged from ERP.

What you record in several Excel lists – you can manage in an ERP system. Certain documents are assigned to a customer or supplier – so you can quickly find the information you need. So you don’t get lost in a large number of Excel files
and know exactly where to find all the information.

ERP systems also offer various evaluation options. Regular Excel pivot tables also allow this, but in SAP Business One you already have a variety of evaluation options that are constantly updated without any additional manual effort.

While Excel is slowly becoming a thing of the past for commercial use, ERP systems will be our future.
